Messages has inexplicably begun to convey my husband's reactions in French. Pourquoi?
I have shelves of well-loved cookbooks. But every once in a while, I tell the LLM what I've got on hand and ask it to suggest a dish or menu. Sometimes I iterate with it, sometimes I look up the recipe in a cookbook if I've got it. FWIW it's never suggested rocks or glue ;)
Over Thanksgiving we stayed with dear friends in both the Palisades and Altadena. Both might have lost the homes in whose guest rooms we were so comfortably ensconced. My heart goes out to them and everyone affected by these devastating fires. Gratitude to the first responders and good Samaritans.

We saw them play a daytime side stage at Life Is Beautiful in 2013. They were electrifying. And Alana was thrilled to be in Vegas because it was her first time there since turning 21 :).
