What needs to happen is to make Scotland ungovernable from Westminster because Scots won't cooperate with a government they didn't elect. Sadly I don't see Scots doing that. We grumble, but always accede.
What would you like them to do? They can't hold a referendum, they don't have the powers (the supreme court settled that), and WM will just continue saying no.
The SNP losing their majority will set the clock ticking on Holyrood and devolution being abolished.
The problem is that Westminster will ignore any vote, calling it illegitimate or "illegal". And they'll keep doing that as long as Scots accept the status quo with nothing more than grumbling.
We need real acts of social disobedience. My fear is we lose through simple apathy.
