Gosh, even from the outset, RE Village is such a visual step up from VII. Look forward to the same level of graphical fidelity jump when I get to Requiem

Finished RE VII Biohazard last night! I didnโt really think about how stressful RE games can be when starting a back to back trillogy ๐
Still, excited to move into Village tonight!

Intergrade DLC complete! Look forward to playing Rebirth and continuing the story
Impressive!
Thatโs a wrap! What amazing storytelling. Onto the Intergrade DLC next
Still taking my time with this one. Think Iโve done every side quest so farโฆ getting closer to the finale!
Everyone dunked on this game, but it was the one trailer that made my 9yr old daughter instantly say โI want a switch 2โ.
Thatโs not so easy if you want separate profiles and to all play online together.
We have three switches in our household, so not being able to share games between each other honestly sounds crazy. Imagine having to buy each game three times. Of course no one would - this is what key cards, and digital sharing solves for
I guess we have way different priorities in terms of quirks. Iโd rather buy digital any day over a code in a box. At least with a key card a can loan it to my son, or sell it later. Those are pretty huge benefits over what seem like minor quirks.
Honestly, that seems like such a small thing compared to not being able to easily loan or sell the game.
I do get the inconvenience of losing the cart, but you could also say the same of physical
Seems like key cards have both of those benefits, plus you can still loan them to a family member / friend, or sell them when youโre done.
Genuinely curious, why would a code in the box be better?
Judging by the footage of Fallout, Machine Games also put in a lot more effort for Indy in general.
Your entry to a ticket drawing was selected!
Got selected for Nintendo Museum ticket drawing in April! ๐
Some more random shots from my play-through of FFVII Remake. Some of the dungeon areas such as mako reactor still feel outdated perhaps, but I am really enjoying the extra world building of such a classic story and characters!
This is maybe a hot take for some, but I also think VI has aged visually a lot better than the original 3D models of VII. Those sprites still look superb today
Always been my favourite Final Fantasy. People hold VII on a pedestal (which is still a masterpiece in its own right), but I think many of them did not play VI, as it was on a different system.
You ainโt seen nothing yet haha

10/10 should never class as โperfectโ imho. No game is ever perfect, so if thatโs what you class as 10/10 then nothing would ever get that score. I prefer calling a 10 a โmasterpieceโ as thatโs much more attainable.
Want!
That glass is amazing, want!
Most played Switch 2 games of 2025: Silksong, Cyberpunk, Donkey Kong Bananza
Not a bad effort!
Iโm having almost the exact same dilemma, but throwing Dragon Quest I & II HD Remake into the mix well ๐ญ

Thatโs a wrap on #Expedition33. Great game with some of the best music Iโve heard in a game, maybe since Neir? Thoroughly enjoyed my time with it
