In fact, we’re seeing exponential growth in patient numbers across all disease and age groups in Finland. The trend is strikingly linear on a log scale, with no sign of any slowdown since 2020.

Positive Covid-19 result for a patient this morning - reasons abound to mask in health care
Patient came in with sore throat. While waiting for rapid Strep test result we glanced back at the Covid-19 RAT result: positive. Reminder that masking in health care makes sense, if you don’t want everyone in your waiting room to go home sick, your staff to get sick, and physicians to get sick.
I'm baffled with the new OSF. I have a project with subfolders for different projects. I want to link the relevant subfolder in a manuscript describing those results. But OSF only allows me to share the root folder ➡️ people need to navigate from there on their own?! Help?

We’re five years into the pandemic, and the science is telling a very different story than “just a cold.” COVID affects blood vessels, organs, metabolism, and cognition — and the impacts compound with each infection.
Ultimately, public health agencies encouraging people to take whatever steps they can to improve their health will have a dramatic effect during the next pandemic. Whether simply by stopping smoking, controlling hypertension or diabetes, or getting up and walking more, anything that makes the population healthier will prepare us better for the next pandemic. The best pandemic preparedness playbook for the United States is making America healthy again.
