The Violence series is great! It's so ambitious both in its storytelling, and in Mado trying out new gameplay mechanics and visual style.
It's funny and tragic and ultimately a really earnest piece of art. Check out the demo for the newest game if you have a chance :D

Every day I learn some new nonsense happening in Ontario. It's hard not to be demotivated...
But yesterday a ton of students went out and protested against OSAP cuts, so you have to have a little hope and a little faith in your fellow citizens.
I think that surprised him even more, so he asked if actually I could pay for an hour at the local porno theatre. And I was like, yeah, why not.
But then when we got there, the person working there started yelling at him and they got into a big argument. So after a few minutes, I just kinda left.
A random guy approached me and asked for some money to buy some food. I told him I only had cards, but I'd go to the grocery store nearby and get him stuff.
I don't think he expected that, so he asked if I would buy him an hour at an internet cafe instead. I said sure, and we started walking there.
One of the big mysteries in my life for sure is that time I tried to buy a random guy an hour in a porno theatre, and the guy working there clearly knew him and wouldn't let him in. What was the beef there?
People's relationships are so complex.
I rest so poorly at night because my cat just got spayed and she claws at the door because doesn't want to be stuck in one room anymore.
I rest so peacefully at night not knowing what people are saying about Genshin Impact or Hazbin or Digital Circus or similar projects.
THIS IS AN AWESOME INITIATIVE! Congrats to the scholarship awardees. Big things to come in their futures, surely!

The easy to load Guess Who frames are actually so genius. You really can still innovate on a classic and make it better.
Thinking about it more, I guess I Have No Mouth is probably a cool reread in the current social climate. I think we have new anxieties around technology and violence that might make it a fun and interesting experience, perhaps.
