I'm delighted that, following a lot of behind the scenes work from Green Councillor Lucy Elkin, Eye will soon have a permanent post office, located in a new convenience store. For far too long, residents have been left without this vital service since the previous post office closed over 2 years ago

π¦· DIY dentistry should never be anyoneβs only option.
Across the country people canβt get an NHS dentist. Children end up in hospital with tooth decay and adults live in pain. NHS dentistry needs urgent funding and reform.
Itβs time for the Government to fix this gap for good.

Campaign graphic featuring a quote from Ellie Chowns, attributed to her opinion piece in The Guardian. The quote reads:
βPeople trust the Greens β polling shows we now have higher favourability ratings than any other party. Under the leadership of Carla Denyer and Adrian, weβve had our most successful electoral period... Weβve built the foundation. Now itβs time to build the transformation.β
At the bottom right is a cropped image of the Guardian article headline: βI would make the Green party a force at the heart of British politics. Thatβs why Iβm running to be co-leader β Ellie Chowns.β Her portrait is included. The Ellie & Adrian logo and the slogan βTogether We Winβ appear at the bottom left. A vertical disclaimer states the image is campaign material, not official Green Party communication.
People trust the Greens - we now have the highest favourability ratings of any party.
We've quadrupled our MPs and doubled our councillors.
Weβve built the foundation. Let's build the transformation together.

Itβs time for climate populism
As politics turns against net zero, we need to mobilise a genuine mass movement against ecological catastrophe.
Climate action globally is under threat. Itβs hugely urgent to seize initiative from rightwing populists. We need to change tactics: start by building climate resilience in local communities where people can feel tangible benefits β weβre calling it climate popularism. @rupertread.bsky.social & meπ§΅

Ruined church with large stone window and no roof. Snowdrops growing in the grass around the hedge in front.
Just randomly came across this ruined church today, on a lane we havenβt been down before. As usual in old churchyards there were snowdrops everywhere - the βfair maids of February.β Fitting for Feb 1st.
As winters warm and spring arrives earlier, hope the snowdrops will keep coming backβ¦#suffolk

Keir Starmerβs βplan for changeβ wonβt deliver the climate adaptation we need
The government definitely needed a reset. But it missed a crucial mission.
π We must better prepare the country for a future of more extreme weather and put nature at the heart of our response to climate breakdown. We need decisive action now.

REAL HOPE. REAL CHANGE.
"Today's announcement left too
many householders out in the cold.
And while making up to 300,000
homes a year warmer and cheaper to
run is welcome, it falls far short of the
15 million homes that the UK Green
Building Council says need to be
retrofitted by the end of this decade."
Adrian Ramsay MP,
Green Party Co-leader I MP for Waveney Valley
Green Party
Promoted by Chris Williams on behalf of The Green Party, both at PO Box 78066, London SE16 9GQ
"What we need now is a nationwide programme of government-backed, council-delivered home insulation... to keep peopleβs homes warm, bring down their bills, and reduce emissions."
Adrian Ramsay reacts to the Government's 'Warm Homes Plan'.
