Thanks, Josh! β€οΈ
I only did 'til I hit adolescence! After that, I think I had one one-liner around fifteen or so 'cause they needed bodies.
I'm not being dismissive of yahoo folks. I'm sorry. It doesn't even show up in their spam folder! I just get a returned e-mail weeks, months(?) later saying it was never delivered.
Comics panel in which a teenager is talking and to the side of him is a little cartoon version of the lady in the subsequent panel killing a bunch of cartoon opponents
One of the things I've had fun with on this book is being more non-literal than I have in previous stories. Which ain't to say it's not a straightforward linear narrative, just that I get to draw little diagrams and cartoony avatars from time to time
Looks great!
Thanks so much!

I'm sure I've done other shows where the same situation is in play, so it's not necessarily a principle thing, but that was unpleasant and embarrassing, and when a show is take-it-or-leave-it in terms of sales, how one is made to feel while participating is a big factor in whether one returns!
There's a show I did once, as a guest, where I was walking into the greenroom, chatting with a couple of screen-side pals, and wasn't allowed in. First time I realized that some shows do this (I so rarely leave my table, I didn't know! Did that time because keen to see said pals). Haven't been back!
Jiminy Christmas, that's like NYCC pricing but with half the attendees from whom to earn back the cost
Last year when I was checking into a hotel, the desk person was wearing Meta glasses. I kindly asked them to take them off. They were annoyed. I said, βI do not consent to you looking at my credit card and ID with Meta glasses on.β My instincts were correct: www.bbc.com/news/article...
I've got a very-faded-now scar on my shoulder from where I got hit with a ninja star thrown by an FFA redneck at a rumble at the VFW hall
"Do not forget it, i can remove you from this transaction" goes so hard
hahahahahahahahaha
Thanks so much, James!
It is so damning of US news media that so many outlets refuse to just straight up say that Senator Tim Sheehy assaulted an activist.
He did not "help" Capitol police. They did not need his help. He wanted to assault the guy and did. He should resign.
UGH with those big fat rubber strings?! I saw one at a music shop and was sorely tempted to get one, it's a magnificent thing.
Thanks so very much, Carina!!!
Book cover with a roughly sketched image inside a series frame. Frame has a broken sword and the title is "Outlaw's Apprentice: Broken Blade." Sketch is of a teenage boy and an adult woman surrounded by sword-wielding fellas in vaguely-skullish helmets that hide their features. There''s a castle in the background with a tall, mostly timber keep and slanting peaked roofs, surrounded by a wooden palisade. Behind that, a forest.
Landed on a composition for the cover for book 1. Pretty happy with it, hopefully it'll convey what the series is going to have (duo leads, swordfighting, trees, armed and masked agents of an unjust state, castle of unfamiliar design, mud).
If you can provide $3k checks for the entire middle class of America by taxing 900 people a little more, not only should you do it, but you should take it as a signal that your monetary system is broken
I'm so glad, Andy! Thanks!
One of our most anticipated comics projects on the horizon.
I didn't pick up on that but it could very well be present. The whole thing has a bit of an anarchic bend to me, and those can be two sides of the same coin.
