@jcdenden.bsky.social That's you when you find a new Retro Game π€ͺ Also a fitting ALT Description from me π
A whole bunch, individually wrapped, of course. π
Remembering the late Rik Mayall on his birthday
Wonderfully witty, manic, chaotic, self-aware/deprecating and an utter, utter bastard β€οΈ
Whether it was The Young Ones, Blackadder, Bottom, Drop Dead Fred or countless guest appearances, he never failed to bring joy, laughter and quoteability.
A legendary knob. I still miss the wanker.
I think you'll like it, it's an excellent third-person action game. One of the PS2 gen's best.
Definitely true, and I'm waiting for the right mood.
The new Bond game looks interesting. My favourite is still Everything or Nothing. Few have come close to that one.
I generally like these kinds of games, I've also got Wanted: Weapons of Fate in my backlog. Sometimes it's worth a second shot, and I might revisit this game in Denden's Gaming Den in the future when the personal status changes.
I am going to give it another try. I do want to like it.
I've avoided any information on it so far, still on my wishlist. Glad to see you like it.
That boxart really gets you in the mood for horror.
That's why Leon's the man. π
I hope so too, my friend. Sucks to see you in this situation, but at least you got to watch something good.
May your coffee be strong!
You're a good person, even if you don't see it that way. I'm sure she'd be proud.
Good morning! Glad your having fun with new Carmageddon. I might try it out, but I'll stick with old-school Carmageddon for the time being. Enjoy!
Good morning, daughter's at sleepover, so we could sleep in. Heavenly bliss! Have a great day.
Manual and disc of Robert Ludlumβs The Bourne Conspiracy on Playstation 3.
The CEX price tag of β¬2.00, the manual explaining a few meters from the HUD and an ad for a MINI stating "who needs cheat codes?"
A CEX price tag of β¬2.00 and an ad leaflet for the Bourne Trilogy stating "own them all on DVD".
I know Bourneβs an assassin, but both the investigation into his past as well as the assassination flashbacks could have been so much more interesting than Generic Action-game No. 164. (8/8) #GameSky #PhysicalMedia #Vivendi #RobertLudlum #Bourne #TheBourneConspiracy
We already had the action-side of Bourne from the movies, this game would have been a perfect opportunity to see more of his investigative side. They could have gotten his likeness in that form too. (7/8)
and proper use of license, this might have been a nice little action title to make you feel like Jason Bourne for a couple of hours, but I think they might have been better off taking Matt Damonβs advice of making it a Myst-like experience. (6/8)
The Bourne Identity movie adaptation. Thereβs Bourneβs highly trained Spidey sense in an attempt to differentiate the game from other action games, but itβs just a gameplay feature that highlights important elements like weβve seen in countless other games. With some more time in the oven (5/8)
hand-to-hand combat in the movies. The game looks fine, but the emphasis on realism and failure on getting Matt Damonβs likeness result in an overall generic action game look. The Bourne license is apparent in some musical themes of The Bourne Identity and by following the story of (4/8)
Movement feels stiff, which made the game a pretty frustrating experience along with the problematic aiming controls. The hand-to-hand combat system is pretty cool, though I never felt like I was fully in control of the fight and it certainly did not approach the intensity of (3/8)
It meets all the basic requirements of a licensed title, though the developer forgot to make it fun. Stealth and shooting is all serviceable, though I had some problems with aiming that felt like a problem with my controller, though I did not experience said problem in other PS3 action games. (2/8)

No. 164.
Robert Ludlumβs The Bourne Conspiracy (Playstation 3, 2008)
Personal status: Unranked. I played a few hours of this game, and itβs a frustrating experience that misses the mark overall.
I expected nothing much from this game. (1/8)
We've got a flying Delorean at work now, complete with Marty McFly and Doc Brown. I had to contain myself.
No, no notes. NO NOTES!
They really need to stop making awesome LEGO sets. I don't like my wallet empty. π
Glad to hear it. Must have been a painful process by the looks of it.
