MN cities & counties have real costs from federal policy decisions. Police overtime, administrative expenses, stretched budgets. Communities shouldn't be financially punished for fed. decisions they don't control. Today’s bill provides limited state grants to minimize these costs to MN localities.
We won’t ever forget Melissa, Mark, and Gilbert Hortman.
Now, we honor Melissa’s legacy by building the Minnesota she believed in and fought so hard for.

This week I'm reminded of the power of community coming together. On Tuesday, precinct caucuses had an amazing turnout. Then tonight, I had the privilege to speak with the Woodbury Community Academy. It's inspiring to see such engaged people.
