I met up with four friends at a coffee shop this morning, and got portraits of all of them (including @larrywilliamson-ca.bsky.social ) and I got an idea for an album cover parody.

Ice buildup on a jetty on Lake Ontario. Winter weather in Toronto can be a pain for people but if you look at it the right way, you can find some incredible scenes (this was yesterday).

(& I know, quite a change from my usual but I was inspired by @johngmeadows.bsky.social post earlier today).

Thank you! It's kind of both. I have this idea but I allow it to develop, morph in an organic kind of way looking for variations that are pleasing. 🙏

100%. I love my Nikon dslr so much that I bought a second in case it were to die and no more available and because everyone is so excited by these mirrorless cameras the dslr was cheap 👍

Ya. I have worked a couple of times with just such a model. Simply refuses to do my themes. I won’t work with her anymore.

Ah! I have never bothered with this feature. Like you, I think my lighting would be a challenge and also there is thy fact that a lot of my work is just bodies, no faces 🤪
