Concept art drawing of my character Erssu as an ulitharid Ussre. Like Joss/Lugribossk he starts out with green skin, but assumes his skin tone when he becomes a lich (alhoon). When Joss eventually passes, he claims and wears his heart, giving him gold fin-like wings and a color scheme similar to Joss's original form in youth. It was this look that Erssu affectionately nicknamed him "his firebird." In a bittersweet way, Erssu is his firebird now.

I really dig how his illithid form turned out. Kinda sad that each time I make a new illithid #oc they end up looking more resplendent and/or badass than the last. 😅

My original character, Erssu Imran, was Joss’s first love and partner back when both were younger and human, and who also transformed into an illithid with him. Joss was kind, loving and protective of him - the only person in his troubled, difficult life to care, and as a result became fiercely loyal through his time as Lugribossk. Even going so far as to resort to lichdom when all other life-extending methods were exhausted - and ironically, led to consequences that ended him. He is resurrected centuries later by mysterious means, and discovered Joss is mortal and living elsewhere with a new partner and family. He reunites with him at his death bed, and promises Joss he wouldn’t raise him in undeath (no matter how much he yearned to do so,) though exchanges hearts with him when he dies. He grows close to his son Gril and becomes a surrogate father figure to the others. His more antagonistic methods are out of grief for Joss, manifested in his protectiveness of the rest, a desire to see to their full potential beyond their limiting environment, and dampen the negative treatment they face as it echoed how he was once treated. They are all he has left of Joss, and would safeguard them at all costs.

Thrilled to finally share Joss' bestie and partner back when they were younger, Erssu Imran. His description and story are in the ALT text. I made him as part of a one-week character challenge, which was a lot of fun.

I did JP before, for a contest, and the character who assumes the personality of "Max" is the Avatar, so I drew mine. The Side Story was released at Halloween or nearby and was a Banshee's Last Cry x Street Fighter collaboration, but the thing is completely wild and I loved playing it, so 😅

Sample book cover designs, including an eBook, Paperback and Dust Cover mockups. The art features a character that started as phoenix-like aasimar, turned Fallen with Scro (space orc) allies, his transformation into a green-skinned illithid, and is ultimate form as a Selunite devotee.

I'm thrilled to share my first sample book cover designs for my fanfic, The Book of Jossiel (my OC's memoir). This illustration highlights the key moments and people in his life. Now I just have to actually *write* the story 😅
