The delusion or dishonesty of this. Does Stanley really believe that the EU spent time and money designing EES just to prevent UK citizens visiting the EU? They got their sacred Brexit, and yet more lies and bitterness. We decided to be a third country, “We’re out”, this is the “prize” that we won.
Exactly! Brexit never required the UK to leave Erasmus. As Johnson knows full well - he was one who pushed us out of the scheme due to his petty prejudices. No one was campaigning on it or putting on the side of a bus. Therefore, rejoicing Erasmus is not a “betrayal”, just undoing a stupid decision.
😍We are rejoining Erasmus. Official announcement tomorrow😍

It is a great city, I’d definitely recommend a return visit if you travel this side of the pond! It’s sometimes easy to take for granted, but always exciting to see Oxford feature on the big screen. Here’s Radcliffe Square in the movie and how it is this evening.
Christopher Columbus would later return to Oxford to film scenes for Harry Potter in nearby Christchurch College. So definitely connections between the schools in both movies. A side note, I get to regularly walk past these locations. 😊
Loving this. A few notes. Sandhurst is a military academy, probably equivalent to West Point. Great recommendation for Rathbone Bruce Christmas radio show, I’ll be listening to this closer to the holidays! archive.org/details/sher...
The school exterior location in YSH is Radcliffe Square in Oxford.
⬇️ Brexit has cost the country between 6% and 8% of GDP per person over the last decade, a hit of £180 billion ($235 billion) to £240 billion.

Anything resembling consistent enforcement would be a start. There are wardens about, but not patrolling enough to keep the pavements accessible to pedestrians.

This is true, but only because in the MAGA world:

Journalism = “Fake news”

my STR-500 sampler has proved frighteningly popular on the social medias, because apparently the world wants to watch me move my hands awkwardly to control sound (kids, ask your grandparents about dragons den). So here's a thread about it + my thoughts on future developments
"'What's going to happen' asks Professor David Zeltzer, 'when we have (computer) animation of photographic quality?' The prospect of the 43rd, computer-generated, series of Terry and June being made long after the two stars have retired is a prospect that could make us rue the day computers were ever allowed into television But also imagine all of the repercussions if a false computer generated image was broadcast showing Neil Kinnock being punched by Margaret Thatcher, the thought may be amusing but the consequences more than a little troublesome. You'll never know what is genuine television unless you're told. Could you ever believe news again? "

I'm still pinching myself after this week's announcement of funding for the Cowley Branch Line!
A massive thanks toJames Murray, Peter Hendy, and all the orgs who've pushed for the reopening
Above all - thanks to all the local residents who've kept on pushing for this!

Decisions that require bravery to go through with, always have the best outcomes.
The problem is if the government refuse to admit that Brexit is the cause, most voters will see Labour as the cause. The current polling is likely a result of this.
People think everything was bad, nothing has improved, so now I’ll vote for another party.
