- laptop on TV tray with wireless keyboard on lightweight lap tray and mouse on secondary surface. Pro: laptop at eye level.
- laptop synced with TV (using TV as external monitor), same keyboard and mouse set up. Pro: giant screen, less eye fatigue.

The use of "leverage my creativity" is hilarious to me. It's not "leveraging" creativity, it's coming up with random ideas and outsourcing the work.

Emma Newman is spot on when she writes that not only are the artistic/writing jobs being gobbled up by Gen AI but the jobs that allow one to do those artistic/writing jobs too. Every-day jobs are being outsourced to Gen AI. All so an increasingly small number of people can get insanely rich.

Friends who make Radio Drama, this site has scrubbed archives at the CBC to profit off your work via YouTube. If your work is on here, report it to YouTube. This isn't the only channel doing this.

@playmepodcast.bsky.social (CBC doesn't have a regular bluesky account, I don't know how to tag them)

Kevin Hassett reminds me of Colin Robinson, the energy vampire from What We Do in the Shadows. Why is he allowed to spout outright lies?

URGENT WARNING: Trump is Planning to Invade Canada & Greenland The Regime’s Big Talk Indicates that the Decision Has Been Made; They Just Don’t Know How or When.

Well this is a horrifying but urgent read. While I don't think the funding of fringe groups in Canada as described in Phase 2 will be effective, he's still going to try. We must resist ✊

They're in a cult. We need to treat and interact with his supporters like we would someone in a cult.

In light of the current situation with our neighbour to the south, I propose we go back to pronouncing it "zed"

Purdy's is great and ethical. They have vegan chocolate (great for people with dairy allergies), you can order assorted chocolate gift boxes with braille for visually impaired customers, and they're legitimately delicious. If price is a problem, stock up on post-holiday chocolates at a discount!

Who is your comment directed at then? Everyone who engages in feminism wants to gain something from it, namely equality. Are you thinking of a specific type of person? Or is this a form of movement gatekeeping? Demanding absolute purity and perfection in progressive movements is self defeating.

Happy to see a steady stream of people going through my local polling station. Get out and vote, Ontario!

I don't think Americans understand how much Canadians enjoy a good fight. How we steel ourselves and roll up our sleeves and do what needs to be done. Organizing, resisting, ridiculing bullies, tossing down gloves and hurling some punches. All the sacrifices in WW I and II have left a cultural mark.

No, using "than" in your sentence was right. Also, good answer.

My partner has recently fallen down a rabbit hole of restoring non-mint Star Wars action figures for dioramas and stuff. And he's discovered friends who are also raiding their childhood collections and buying new/used stuff and it really feels like it's model train collecting for middle-aged dudes.
