I am so glad we are not part of this. Its either a vanity war or Hegseth trying to recreate The Crusades a 1000 years after we stopped.

Blowing up a few brown people for gas and to distract from Epstein and mid-terms is a bargain deal in their eyes.
I'm starting to think that the Tom Hanks film "Big" has come true. There is a small child trapped in that orange blob that is going madder by the minute.
It was on lunchtime news today
That's OK, he can just buy cheap oil from his Russian mates
I thought idolatry was a sin.
You could have left out "morally" and still have been correct
For the first time ever I have switched off Celebration Kitchen, seems completely inappropriate to be celebrating when you are bombing another country. I would happily watch and learn about the food but the behaviour of the guests is too much.
Unfortunately, winning a war usually increases approval ratings (and a handy distraction from any other inconvenient events). Not sure how it works if you start the war in the first place or when it all goes horribly wrong.
But uncle Vladdy has a war, I want one too!
Here is my opening statement to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee today.
2026 State of the Union
Basically he is predicting civil because they if do win (God help us) they will most definitely "make a mess of it", though a fuck up of Trumpian proportions is probably better descriptions.
Poorly written π€£π€£π€£π€£
Are these seats so expensive because you cant actually see or hear Kid Rock?
To another country that already has free healthcare
Let me check I'm getting this correct, it is sending a WW2 looking hospital ship to a country with universal healthcare whilst he own people have to create Go Fund Me pages to pay for cancer treatment? Interesting approach.
Problem is US votes for a person with executive powers whereas UK votes for a party where the leader can reasonably easily removed if needed. Essentially you are voting in a king every 4 years and, as we both know, some kings are mad!
I'm sorry for misunderstanding, it been a tough week. I don't think there is any way the orange thing could be taken seriously by anyone capable of independent thought. Have a great weekend!
I don't need to find a way to be taken seriously. I choose to be less serious on a Saturday afternoon when peoples futures are somewhat less dependant on me than they are Mon-Fri.
Apprently.
So what will you guys get for this 5% tax rise?
For Norway, read most of Europe. My cancer treatment was totally free and my prescription for any other drugs were free whilst I was on (free) Tamoxifen for 5 years. I was also on full pay sick leave for 6 months and have protection against future discrimination.
The extraordinary thing is that it was allowed to happen in the first place.
Sounds like how we live in most of Europe.
How can you search the depth of an argument not yet articulated?
It seems to think, and I use that word in the loosest possible way, that being called a loser is worse than being called a paedophile and a rapist!
I often cry myself to sleep, totally distraught by the severe lack of ballrooms worldwide. I understand there are some people who have never had the privilege of pressing their face against the ballroom window to gaze in wonder at the rich.
Surely the issue with fast fashion is people buying cheap clothing then only wearing once or twice. Being able to bin perfectly good clothes is privilege. Having to wear clothes until they wear out is sustainable but not a privilege.
Old and English, never heard of Bad Bunny until Trump gave him so much publicity. Didn't watch the Super Bowl because it started way past my bedtime, but caught up on the half time show just now. Didn't understand a word, but I didn't need to it was just brilliant music!
