I hope everyone has a good ending to 2024. I know 2025 is going to be the start of a terrible year with Trump taking office. I try to keep my “glass half full” attitude, but there’s nothing positive about MAGA’s and their obsession with Trump.

Honestly, I don’t feel like it stops anyone considering they already didn’t care to message in the first place; someone showed me I can just block DM’s from people, so I just did that and am now taking it out of my bio!

At first I wondered why everyone put “No DM’s” in their bio… I now understand and added it.
Thoughts and prayers don’t bring back all the innocent victims due to gun violence. We need CHANGE.
There are people that would rather see two men holding guns than two men holding hands and that says a lot about our country.

It was an old school friend I haven’t talked to in awhile, too. I can’t see how an adult would process even thinking it’s okay. I blocked them, though!
Completely blocked them when they told me! I made a status because I was trying to thank whoever it was. (It didn’t show the name). The person felt bad and privately messaged me saying it was them and a joke. I didn’t even say anything back, just blocked them!
It costs $0.00 to respect someone’s pronouns.

If someone says, “But they’re family! You have to forgive family”, gently remind them that family isn’t necessarily blood. I have friends I’d count as my family over blood any day of the week.
You don’t have to ever forgive anyone that has hurt you. You’re allowed to let go of toxicity.
I know a lot of people are stressed about having to spend holidays with people they’re uncomfortable around… this is your reminder that you don’t have to rekindle relationships. Your hurt and feelings are valid. Take a breath and walk away if you need to, it’s okay.
