People love to say Obama wasnβt perfect. No shit. No one is. I doubt Iβm the only one who would instantly take βdoing the best they canβ over βthe abominable worst they wantβ though. Watching this speech made my heart ache. It makes me angry, it radicalizes me. I just wish I was bold enough to act.
When Jesse Jackson was born, he couldn't register to vote. When Jesse Jackson died, he was eulogized by a Black president & vice president. The man kept hope alive even in death.
Hear his words. Heal your heart. President Obama is now one of usβstill a leader, still sustaining us. NITE & bless you.

Obama: "We are living in a time where it can be hard to hope. Each day we wake up to some new assault on our democratic institutions. Another setback to the idea of the rule of law ... but this man - Rev. Jesse Jackson - inspires us to take a harder path ... bc if we don't step up, nobody else will"
Kennedy: "I was stunned when Noem answered categorically that the president approved every single bit of it. Later that day, I got a call from President Trump. He was mad as a mamma wasp ... she was dead as fried chicken."
This is a broad statement but it seems half the people commenting here did not watch the full service today and donβt understand the culture that was celebrated and the other half donβt seem to realize that every President has supported Israel since Truman.
...and there it is. Putin got exactly what he wanted.
Hegseth: "The only ones who need to be worried right now are Iranians who think they're going to live"
The killing of Iranian children during an illegal war is an impeachable offense (not to mention a grave crime) and Congress should really act like it.
15 Republicans in the Senate could end this nightmare before it somehow gets even worse.
The great Delroy Lindo saying "And they're telling me to wrap up. I'm not gonna wrap up."
Every single person when it's their turn to speak:
I want to be crystal clearβ¦Iβm not rooting for πΊπΈ to loseβ¦Iβm rooting for Trump to lose
Iβm not βanti-Americanβ Iβm anti-Trump
There IS a difference between the two
And if π«΅πΎ whoever π«΅πΎ are canβt see the differenceβ¦ π«΅πΎ are part of the problem

A few hours after NYT reported that the U.S. bombed an elementary school in Iran, killing many children, the White House last night posted this video mixing airstrike footage with Top Gun, Iron Man, Gladiator, Halo, Breaking Bad, Star Wars, John Wick, Superman, Transformers and Dragon Ball Z
The U.S. lost 92,000 jobs in February, the Labor Department said Friday, missing expectations. That was short of January's gain of 126,000 jobs, and worse than the gain of 50,000 jobs that economists polled by The Wall Street Journal had expected to see.

It's actually when someone just looks incredibly cool doing just the most mundane things. It's used mostly in anime to describe someone who just radiates coolness. π€
