a grainy, environmental snapshot capturing the life of mod. some tucked away corner of the city, shadowed beneath an overhead walkway, nestled along a strip of barbershops and corner stores. mod sits perched on a mailbox—entirely nude, save for a pair of white sneakers. she dangles a joint between two fingers, and casts a long glance ahead. the streets are empty. devoid of the urban hustle one would expect. smoke curls wistfully from the burning tip of her joint, and a haze of it coils around her like a veil. the sun is lowering against the horizon, slowly finalizing the end of a long day.
