a white and brown pit bull mix named Miles crouches low to cement ground. his front legs are each wrapped in green bandage, and it's clear they've been like that for a good amount of time because the bandages are frayed and dirty. the pup looks up with golden eyes.
an x-ray of Miles' front legs show fractures at the base of both leg bones.
Miles rests in the backseat of a car on a blue quilt. he does not have bandages on his legs, which are tucked up near his body. his front right leg curves at a funny angle. he looks up at us with his golden eyes.
This is Miles. He was found as a stray with two broken legs. The fractures had gone untreated for so long that surgery is no longer an option. He will need months of ongoing care including regular x-rays and weekly splint changes for his bones to heal. You can help him below ❤️🩹
