The text is as follows;
β€œ"Readers of Travis Baldree and T] Klune will feel right at home with this cozy sapphic romantasy."
-PUBLISHERS WEEKLY ON CAN'T SPELL TREASON WITHOUT TEA

Kianthe and Reyna are on the hunt for dragon eggs to save their hometown-but it requires making a deal with Diarn Arlon, lord of the legendary Nacean River. Simply capture the river pirate Serina, who's been plaguing Arlon's supply chains, and bring her in for justice. Easy-peasy.
Begrudgingly, the couple joins forces with Bobbie, one of Arlon's constables determined to capture the pirate. Except Bobbie and Serina have a more complicated history than anyone realized, and it might jeopardize everything.

While Kianthe and Reyna watch this relationshipwreck from afar, it quickly becomes apparent that these disaster lesbians need all the help they can get. Luckily, matchmaking is Reyna's favorite pastime.

The dragon eggs may have to wait.”

The art beneath the synopsis depicts a woman with short hair riding a white horse.

The Book Thief!

It’s such a powerful story, and the lessons in it are so important. Now more than ever.

Is there a deadline to sign up for the next meeting? I work retail and my schedule isn’t out for that week yet.

Also I saw The Travelling Cat Chronicles on the list of suggestions, it’s one my absolute favorites!

The Honey Witch by Sydney J. Shields was my most recent book purchase! I haven’t read it yet but it looks good. I’ve heard it has good queer rep

I have that one on my shelf, haven’t read it yet but I’m looking forward to it! I’ve really been enjoying Japanese novels lately

I don’t particularly have a preference. I haven’t read YA in years though, most of the books I’ve read recently have protagonists in their 20s or 30s

Slatter writes dark fantasy books set in a shared universe, but each one is self contained.

If you’re interested, I’d recommend starting with All the Murmuring Bones! The main family in that one, the O’Malleys, is referenced a few times in the other books.

Haven’t posted here in a minute but here is my current read: The Briar Book of the Dead by AG Slatter.

It’s the third book I’ve read by her and I’m definitely a fan!

It’s so good!

I wish I could find a doctor who prescribed cats. I haven’t had one in a couple years, and I miss having a feline friend

I love rereading books! It’s like visiting an old friend.

I usually wait a couple years or so before rereading.

I love gifting books, and I also love getting them as gifts!

It can be hard to just wing it though, you might end up getting them something them they’ve already read or already have on their shelf.
