Is there a deadline to sign up for the next meeting? I work retail and my schedule isn’t out for that week yet.

The Honey Witch by Sydney J. Shields was my most recent book purchase! I haven’t read it yet but it looks good. I’ve heard it has good queer rep

I have that one on my shelf, haven’t read it yet but I’m looking forward to it! I’ve really been enjoying Japanese novels lately

I don’t particularly have a preference. I haven’t read YA in years though, most of the books I’ve read recently have protagonists in their 20s or 30s

Slatter writes dark fantasy books set in a shared universe, but each one is self contained.

If you’re interested, I’d recommend starting with All the Murmuring Bones! The main family in that one, the O’Malleys, is referenced a few times in the other books.

Haven’t posted here in a minute but here is my current read: The Briar Book of the Dead by AG Slatter.

It’s the third book I’ve read by her and I’m definitely a fan!

This is actually my mom’s copy from the 80s, so it’s older than me

If I travelled now I’d bring my Kindle for sure! It takes up less space than a physical book

I love gifting books, and I also love getting them as gifts!

It can be hard to just wing it though, you might end up getting them something them they’ve already read or already have on their shelf.
