That mightβve been fun but knowing the organisational abilities of that government, it mightβve turned out like this: youtu.be/sDsn-RRmDXU?...
Whereas what you shouldβve said was βsemi sentient column of Victorian dustβ
Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey said a scheduled visit by King Charles to the US should be called off.
AND SO SAY ALL OF US!
Targeting the water supply of a populous water-scarce country to trigger a refugee tsunami with a view to boosting the far right in Europe is exactly the kind of evil plan Stephen Miller might come up with, by the way.
... and thanks to First Past The Post, Farage could be Prime Minister on only 30% of the vote. We need electoral reform.
The US has 100s of intelligence personnel in our country but UK governments put a blanket ban on information about what theyβre doing.
Governments privilege US military secrecy over our right to know.
Why is there not more consternation about this?

SKS has always been clear about the justification for war.
If you support his stance, if you do not believe Trump is fighting a βHoly War in Jesusβ nameβ, if you do not think Blair and Farage are true British heroes, PLEASE email SKS office/ your MP to express your support.
If only the media would grill his uncosted ideas like they did Labourβs (and othersβ) costed plansβ¦ but theyβre mostly complicit

Morning Kaci!
But they kinda did, in similar ways to how we helped with Vietnam - use of fuel bowsers at wideawake etc - but they couldnβt be seen to be helping. But I think that was more down to Caspar Weinberger than anything else

Dear UK, please send your aircraft carriers to Ukraine. We actually appreciate our allies.

We were there at the start when they asked in 2001β¦ (rightly or wrongly is a matter for another discussion)
That was a special moment that
Itβs a bit fucking rich from the country who turned up late for BOTH WORLD WARS but go around declaring themselves back to back world war champions, too

This is one of those things I try to bring up when people want to demolish the BBC. Like, I get it, change is needed but I'm not sure people realise just how much it will change the TV landscape if it's gone. Or how much soft power is in the sort of shows that would never get made otherwise.
Spot on. Itβs like the NHS: people rightly complain when itβs slow or you canβt get an appointment but when itβs gone people will be reminded why it was actually quite good.
Sort the BBC board out, fix BBC News and the rest will follow.
