Lots of studies show that large streamers actually have a negative ROI, That Dragon Cancer did a REALLY good breakdown of it. And yet, marketing still goes for them. For me: I just see liability since a not insignificant amount end up problematic...see Roblox, Pewdiepie's 'costume', etc

For me the biggest problem I have is if someone is watching a stream they are not playing, which means that streamer is actually a negative impact on the overall reach of the game.

The bigger problem is people who dont play repeating what streamers say because it creates noise and makes it much harder to see real issues. Same with non playing theorycrafters
