I was at City Lights for the 2007 book release, in poetry heaven listening to Ferlinghetti read this. Grateful his spirit is still standing up and fighting back with us.
I remember standing about 30 feet away from Joan Baez when she sang marching songs to kick off the first Women's March in January 2017. Thank you for all of the great organization work, but especially for her very comforting and meaningful presence again.
