Apple has released their fourth beta for iOS 26.4, debuting their new emoji designs for Emoji 17.0's list of recommendations

iOS 26.4 beta 3 has a new build (23E5223k), but the Emoji 17.0 situation remains unchanged.

The Unicode characters are still present within the emoji keyboard (as they were in build 23E5223f), but they continue to lack proper designs, displaying as "missing characters".

The code point for Emoji 17.0’s Distorted Face is present in the Apple iOS 26.4 beta 3 emoji keyboard, currently rendering as a “missing character” box with a question mark.

The code point for Emoji 17.0’s Fight Cloud appears in emoji search results, though it renders as a “missing character” box with a question mark.

#ICYMI Earlier today, Apple released iOS 26.4 beta 3.

While the update didn’t add any new emoji designs, recommendations from Emoji 17.0 have been added to the emoji keyboard and are searchable, albeit rendering as “missing characters.”
