The Yakuza series fits in a weird space of my brain where I never think of those games as AAA. Maybe they are, it's probably fair to include them, it just doesn't fit in the box in my head.

Like being actually for real, the previous game that counts is like DQXI, and before that is what? FF13 I guess? Its been nothing but small studios and indies scraping together whatever they could since then. Sure you get a Fantasian in there, but boy it has been slow and arduous for the genre.

Very excited to play a brand new high budget AAA turn based RPG for the first time in over a decade. The games industry decided this genre is dead for some reason.
