Yesterday, the Supreme Court blocked a California law that prohibited schools from notifying parents about a student's social transition or gender identity change. The law was intended to protect students with unaccepting parents from abuse and homelessness.

Texas AG Ken Paxton has declared that it is illegal for mental health providers and therapists to treat trans youth. It means that trans youth will be denied access to any mental healthcare that isn't conversion therapy. Paxton also threatens parents of trans youth with child abuse investigations.

The latest review from JAMA Pediatrics has uncovered that 26% of trans youth have attempted suicide. That's actual attempts, ideation was even higher.
