The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.

And yet here they are walking through the section dedicated to "superheroes" and browsing like its going out of style. Is it a mating dance? A "I'm too cool for this, and you should be impressed"? I enjoy joking and word play, but this isn't it. I will continue to observe until I have an answer.
My favorite part of working retail is people watching and people eavesdropping. Because of that I have come to be aware of "The Fakery" where two people will walk through my section and one of them will openly insult random stuff (ugh superheroes) and the other will follow along and chuckle
The👇🏽💰 chart the super-rich don’t want you to see — taxing the very top (like we used to) could erase our debt in a heartbeat, if anyone was really serious about it.
They aren’t. They just want to use it as an excuse to cut programs and cut their taxes more.

This shows my word count on this project. I am at 11,529 out of 100,000. 12% completed. I wrote 4870 words according to the book goal tracker in Atticus.

11,529 out of a projected 100,000. Aiming to write anywhere from 8,000-10,000 words a week on the high end. This may end up being lower if I have planning or revamping to do.

Which is the best/or fave of the flash fiction you've written?
The stories I've heard is that people start with shorts (on their own dime usually) and after a proof of concept or proof of quality pieces running the film festival curcuit are able to make a case for feature length. 🤷♀️ that's anecdotal at best tho.
