And this is a "yes, and" situation… some will protest, some will actively resist, some will file lawsuits, some will stand on the floor of congress… Almost any action is welcome action. But no action isn’t an option. The time is now. By tomorrow we may be the ones rounded up.

I’m very open to other forms of resistance (suggestions welcome) but the options for many of us are limited.

A friend of mine asked what is the point of protesting.

By showing up, we strengthen the resolve of the people with real power to take action: judges, lawyers, our representatives, business leaders, etc.

If they see us standing up, they will be more likely to stick their necks out.
