Should there be a USL C strike, it’d be a damned shame if fans who had tickets to those games demanded a match game refund. Then maybe they could somehow donate the refund to their team’s players directly (or a union-backed compensation fund).

From what Luy describes, it still sounds like the 2 sides are far apart on most of key issues. For example, he says USL is offering minimum compensation of $38,500 for salary & housing. USLPA is holding fast at $43,000.
Talks with mediator present are taking place today. Season starts on Friday.
