I agree with you, Mark. There’s a misconception that lots of plugins = bad site but that’s a blanket statement IMO. Correlation != causation.

From an aesthetic point of view, the F looks much nicer and is more in fitting with the rest of the face. I’ve never seen that before.

But friends, that was me. *I* was that person with the really bad boundaries and people pleasing tendencies. I had to learn the lesson painfully MANY times

Building a WordPress site using core blocks and FSE, it’s fantastic how far you can get without custom blocks now.
