Job summary -Collect data with a wire-following profiler and interpret the data to quantify biological and physical sources and sinks of oxygen -Analyze output from an existing hydrodynamic model (ROMS-RCA) and compare with observations to evaluate model performance -Work with modelers to implement new model parameterizations for wave-mediated mixing and bubble-mediated gas exchange -Develop skills and knowledge in applied research and science policy by presenting project results to managers

I made the Atlantic Ocean in my office for my online Introduction to Oceanography class. It is an easy demo to show how density gradients initiate the vertical and horizontal circulation in the ocean.
