I've left out a massive amount of information purely because it has been so much worse. I'm letting this go and letting the law run its course. I don't want to dwell on the anger...
i can respect that these people just didnt know better. its just dealing with the fall out that is hurting us most now.
I just want to emphasise for people just how horribly these animals die, please think of this if you ever decide setting off fireworks in rural areas is okay. it is not just "shock = death", its broken legs, its neurological damage, its miscarriages. please, respect animals and respect rural land.
We're scanning our ewes as soon as equipment arrives so we can determine how many pregnancies were lost over both nights. I was going to go into detail on how these animal deaths from shock and fear aren't immediate or pleasant but id honestly rather not go into what i had to see these last two days
It was entirely different people who had no idea what had gone on. There's an unfinished build RIGHT next to the airbnb where these people had come to celebrate new years and cluelessly set off their fireworks in the same spot as the others. You can't make this shit up. But the damage is done.
