Email sent to NHS elearning enquiries on 12 January 2026.
Subject - Request for information.
Dear NHSE elearning hub,
I am making a freedom of information request (FOIA 2000) for the following data.
In 2024/5, the NHS England elfh e-learning hub introduced 3 new modules on ME/CFS:
1. An introduction to ME/CFS (May 2024).
2. ME/CFS: guidance for community-based healthcare practitioners (January 2025).
3. Managing Severe ME/CFS (September 2025).
Please can you tell me how many people have completed each module to date (from date of introduction), and what the breakdown is for logins by NHS staff (nhs.uk), and those in government (gov.uk), academic (ac.uk), and social care sectors (if available).
I am happy for your response to be sent to this email address.
Many thanks for your help,
Lucy B

Science for ME Fact Sheet 3: ME/CFS Information for Medical Professionals
by Prof. Jonathan Edwards and members of the S4ME forum. The seven page fact sheet covers definition, diagnosis, core and additional features, management, support, and the particular needs of people with severe and very severe ME/CFS.
"... recognition of ME/CFS as a valid clinical/biological entity and committed interest from research scientists provide hope that progress in both biology and treatment will be made in the near future. In the meantime, ensuring general supportive care to make life more tolerable and minimise unnecessary harm is an essential need that is still seldom met."

Clip: Chris Ponting tells the BBC Access All podcast the idea for Decode ME came from the #MECFS community. He also had a friend whose life was destroyed by ME, and saw a research vacuum, funding has been lost due to stigma and misogyny against this female-biased disease.

You're right, it has great character. Just months ago it was bare, hibernating, you could say waiting it out. Its character shines in all seasons.

The airy crown of a twisty baby Robina tree in a sunny back garden. Twisted branches, curly leaves - lime green in the sun - and white flowers dangling, too high up to be smelled
I understand. This is the Robinia in my garden. I adore the shape and the colours. I wonder what the flowers smell like.

This clip doesn't do justice to Oonagh Cousins' point - it looks like she's an advert for the lightning process when the longer piece shows she's saying it's exploitative

'crackdown': 'situation in which someone starts to deal with bad or illegal behaviour in a more severe way'.
Is this the BBC (& Guardian, etc.) adding their own framing or did Secretary of State use that word?
Either way it is clear that being unwell is now at least bad, if not yet illegal.

Everything is temporary. So why are you feeling stressed? If that easy time passed, this difficult time will too.

Though it's taken me a week for the penny to drop, it turns out we're fans of the same tree and it was lovely to see it again. I used to admire it's colour whenever I walked along Great Peter St.

I appreciate all of you who use the Alt-text description for the images you post. As a blind dude I feel so much more included here.
For those of you who forget:
Did you know thereβs a reminder in Settings/Accessibility to toggle on & then it wonβt let you post image without Alt-text.
Thanks ππ
