My 16 year old girl has started doing this outside the bedroom door at about 7am when she thinks we should be awake. She’s always been a totally silent miaower but now sounds like she’s being strangled. Not at 3am thankfully though!

To me, he comes across as authentic, well intentioned and genuinely interested in people and other views. But also very pleased with himself and out of touch with how most people live.

My tomcat was always a bit offended to have to eat cat food, turned his nose up at cat treats and would have lived exclusively on people food if he could. My little female cat would live on Dreamies if she could and treats all real food offerings like poison.
I was in the US for Thanksgiving once and had to explain to more than one American why we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK

I bought a flat in Islington in the 1980s when my partner and I were both in entry level professional-type jobs in not well paid industries. Sadly I sold it and moved out of London before houses became cash cows rather than homes.

I went to the very posh wedding of distant relative recently and got chatting to nice young woman who worked at a whisky distillery. I found out after that her family owned the distillery and the island it was on
