It’s definitely and sadly not very disability friendly. I have chronic pain conditions and that’s why I’m no longer a zookeeper.
Me too and I never tried it again 😂 And that lesson came in very handy
People love a zoo story, especially the injuries/near misses. I almost also had my finger gotten through the fence, but by a black bear. I was 15 yr old volunteer zookeeper reaching for some dropped fruit for target training, and one of the keepers pulled my arm back reallllll fast
My special nature appreciation classes have been working, I see 😍😂
