Text reads "Bluesky Starter Thread" displayed in a bold font. Below the title, it states "by Debbie Ridpath Ohi (@debbieohi.com)" and provides a shortlink: debbieohi.link/starter. The last updated date is July 2, 2024. The background has a wavy blue pattern, suggesting a water or sky theme. At the bottom, it mentions "More #BlueSkyTips & resources: DebbieOhi.link/bluesky-tips" with a small heart icon.
UPDATED: My Bluesky Starter Thread. Newest version can always be accessed via debbieohi.link/starter.

This looks good. Very aware there is a school calendar clash - will the event be recorded?
Love the clarity of this.
@clairehill.bsky.social you mentioned sharing threads. This is my summer project, to use the book βHow learning Happensβ to create student friendly short form time lessons on key components of the process of learning, this is my thought process on each lesson
We started by outlining the good, the bad and the ugly to create a clear model for what this might look like in the classroom. Good CPD should always clearly define what effective strategies look like and what can go wrong.
One of the best things about edu-twitter-of-old were threads with useful tips, resources, sharing thinking, all in one thread. Responses were mostly kind & certainly not as sneering. So, hereβs one of my most popular threads from years ago - Iβd love to see other peopleβs fave threads reshared! π§΅
To all the school leaders about to download A Levels and L3 qualifications - good luck! πππ
Who doesn't love free CPD?
Many (all?) of the ResearchEd Home (2020) talks were shared on YouTube. I compiled some of them into a playlist to rewatch later.

Updated! Must say - like the Bluesky vibe!
