Moments like this prove how useful to the ruling class is the miseducation & ignorance of the US public. Even if some find what’s going on fishy and doubt the official line, the base of knowledge they’d need to give a robust rebuttal seems far out of reach. Education is one of our most urgent tasks.

30 boats from the Global Sumud Flotilla remain steadfast, just 46 nautical miles from Gaza, despite relentless hostility from the Israeli navy. The Israeli navy has intercepted 13 boats from the Global Sumud Flotilla so far.
I tell people in South Africa about getting booted from academia over Palestine & they simply can’t believe a professor could be booted for their (righteous!) politics. A reminder I’m in the ongoing process of decolonizing my mind. The US is nothing to hold onto—a moral & intellectual wasteland.
