The image on the cover page is also figure 5.3 (p. 129) in the book. It shows pigs on an industrial farm with Yiddish wording: "Soviet Yiddish propaganda poster from 1931. It's a fantastic (non-technical) book! Rosenblum's writing is lovely (often sparking envy in me). The notes are impressively dialogical. It's a great book. You should read it.
