Titania takes the series, 2-1! The scores here tell it all: Titania got bigger and bigger each game, and Alexis got smaller and smaller. Adaptability is key, and Titania showed she has that, advancing to the next round (and a grudge match for the ages against Samantha!)

Corrina takes Game 1! It looks like Corrina wanted it MUCH more! She dominated Mizella in a lopsided affair, pulling an Ultimate Growth Compound in Round 5 that sent her skyrocketing. She finished at 1292.58' to Mizella's 34.17'. This was an absolute blowout from the midpoint on!

Camelia responds with a historic blowout in Game 2, 1183.43' to 90.84', after pulling an Ultimate Growth Compound in Round 6 that sent her rate skyrocketing to 1.78 and beyond. From that point it was never a contest, with Camelia's rate eventually reaching 1.96!

The Mataki/Gloria tie this week does nothing to resolve their neck-and-neck battle for first place for the season, so we look to their average sizes. Mataki's average size per match was 90.09', while Gloria averaged 64.58'. This makes Mataki our points champion for the season!

I also had a Royal from around this time, not sure of the exact year, but it looked a lot like this, and the typeface matches up with what I remember.

Why yes, I AM going down a rabbit hole on a typewriter database trying to find the ones I had growing up.

Whoof, it's been a day of hearing news about old colleagues that have died, places of business I've frequented for 20+ shutting down, and Discord servers I'm on getting deleted.

Finally some good news

It looked scary there for a second when NE had an offense all of a sudden, but good job, Seahawks. You did it. :)

That was a really hard video to watch, but I'm glad they shared with everyone. Finny lived a long, happy life.

Short weeks are the longest!

Today's results allow Maximus to take sole possession of first place for the season with 240 wins! Athena is still right behind him in second at 239, with Mataki a few notches back in third at 234. Arianna and Sienna tie for fourth at 233, and Hodari and Tyrdor are tied at sixth with 232!

Also just amazed at how good everyone's gotten over the years! It's interesting to go back far enough where most people were drawing with physical media and scanning as opposed to creating digitally. You can see the difference in complexity (backgrounds!) and more detailed character design.

Went looking through all my favorites in FA this morning since I couldn't remember the last time I had. Smiled a lot as I saw lots of old art I hadn't thought of in forever and sighed wistfully at reminders of those that have passed or otherwise moved on.
