But some religions oppose vaccines, e.g., Christian Science. Parents have let their children die rather than give them life-saving medical treatment (and some were appropriately prosecuted for doing that).

Total Democratic votes=764K
Total republican votes = 605K

~340K republican votes vs >400K Democratic votes
