Local FLGS Elm City Games celebrated their 10th anniversary. Spent the day there running a drop-in drop-out Shadowdark gauntlet open table and it was a blast! Had up to 7 players at a time and taught the game to a lot of people!

My wife Mary was given a LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD at Winter Fantasy. How was your weekend?
Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a lot of gaming to do.
Back to the Mythic Bastionland well. Working to grow as a GM and resisting the temptation to just turn it into a different kind of D&D.
An article on how we organize our Shadowdark Discord server for West-Marches play.
This was absolutely my impression as well! So good on so many levels completely ruined by one sloppy mechanic. I liked how Lancaster handled combative worker placement a lot better.
Ha! Yup, you got it. :)
Thanks for writing awesome stuff!

I link the Atlantic article I reference in the Substack, but I'll also put it in the second half of the post for easy reference.
Wrote about my ArcaneCon experience on Substack. Spoiler alert: It was awesome!
Tremendous con! And a pleasure to meet in person.
Chatting with @nightnoon.games reminded me that I never shared my latest write-up here.
Recap of the last RPG convention I addended. Four great games!
Overheard today at the Verizon Store:
Sales Associate: "Can I get your e-mail address?"
Older Customer: "I don't have e-mail."
SA: "Oh, uh ..." starts to mention ways to get past not having an e-mail address.
OC: "I don't have e-mail. But I do have G-mail, will that work?"
What if it really was The Rapture yesterday, but just nobody qualified?
Mmmmm... canned fishes! <3
