Now Is the Time to Stand Up for Press Freedom Bad-faith lawsuits, ugly smears, and even violence against journalists are becoming more common. To that, we must all say, ‘Enough.’

Now is a time to fight, and it should be a fight in which the allegiance of the American public to a free and fair press is clear. We hope.
