Took my kids to the local library this afternoon. It was FULL of kids and young people reading books, choosing books and getting excited about books. Utterly fabulous!

I have this experience with my son. I’m supposed to be going running with him for his cross country training but I’m not fit enough to run and talk and he’s incapable of shutting up for 2 seconds. Obviously I keep coming up with excuses as to why we can’t go for a run. The guilt is real.

I got so sick of trousers being too long that I did a “how to use a sewing machine” course purely to learn how to take up trousers. It takes literally 5 mins. So worth it!

I love the thing I read where someone asked how painting flags on roundabouts was protecting women, and the reply was that the perpetrators were too busy painting flags on stuff. 😂
