You heard I'm off to the golf range and you're taking precautionary measures....
I wouldn't claim to be fluent, but I can certainly string enough sentences together to be understood. And the Spanish people I spoke to were very forgiving and generous.
I found it does. I wasn't sure until I actually went to Spain and suddenly found I could speak to people and hold proper conversations without stopping to think about what I was going to say.
My friend took up French having watched how fluent the Spanish course made me.

The first Campervan trip of 2025 is booked. Off to Wiseman's Bridge for z couple of days of beach walking, sea fishing, eating, drinking and general relaxing, with 6 Nations games thrown in.
Stan the dog is also coming. He's less excited.

Insomnia is killing me. Last night I was shattered. Crawled off to bed. Switched off the lamp and BANG! Wide awake and couldn’t sleep. Today - exhausted. I need to have an early night, but the thought of just lying there, tossing and turning for hours again is not appealing.
No. I have trouble enough sleeping without an excuse not to.
2/2 Last night I watched absolute blackness for a couple of hours, in which time the fox came, ate everything, left his/her scent everywhere and went again.
How did it DO that?
1/2 Explain this. The place I put food for the fox is covered by a light , operated by temperature. If it detects anything with a temperature higher than the surrounding area it comes on.
I'm on fox watch. There's a fox coming to the garden, eating the bird food I put out. I'm sure it's not wise to encourage him/ her, but, well, you know.....🦊♥️

Got the campervan results today. It would be cheaper just to fly yo the Carribbean for a month.
