I know I wasn’t active much to begin with, but I apologize if my posting slows down a bit. Lost my grandfather yesterday. Still trying to navigate all the feelings that come with it.
Loss is such a difficult thing to parse. Everything just feels weird now.

You have, like, one of the cutest styles out there dude. That program wouldn’t know what to do without copying you and your peers anyway.

Not that it even does know what to do since the panel sequencing was all out of whack too. You still have a job to do! The world needs your vision!

A computer isn’t down bad for your favorite character. A machine doesn’t daydream about being turned into a tabby cat. It doesn’t “feel normal” about being the size of an ant. An algorithm cannot feel strong emotions about something and put it into an image.
No matter your skill level? You can.

No matter how pretty the output gets— which, quite frankly, still isn’t on its own merit! It’s all based off real people’s hard work— there will never be passion behind it. These machines pick the path of least resistance, and are optimized to get engagement, viewing art as content and content alone

It’s easy to feel discouraged as this tech is constantly shoved in our faces and touted as getting better. The one thing it can’t do? Be inspired.
You and I make things with intention. We feel a certain way about a character or idea and act on it. A machine will never get that.
