I don't think that's quite true? There are at least a handful of minority groups that regularly get talked about this way by Loomer & Co. She's wrong and evil, but the public has a pretty high tolerance for exterminationist rhetoric from Trump's advisors.

ALBW Zelda. I really liked Hilda and the concept of her attempting to steal the Triforce from Hyrule to save her own land, and seeing Zelda and Link make a wish for Lorule to get their own Triforce back shows wisdom and kindness that we all need to see more of.
TP Zelda is beloved, but still it feels like many people don't grasp the sacrifices Zelda makes for her people and her loved ones.
I feel like the one most people prolly gloss over the most might be Spirit Tracks Link.
He's a cool little guy, conducts a train, has one of the cutest relationships with Zelda. The game itself is super underrated too.
