i've got good news for you!
hey man, i'm working on it
kill the imposter syndrome in you head because not only is there someone out there doing it worse than you, they're also using chat gpt to do it
Anyways.
what really kills me about this chart is the fact that it just casually indicates the impact that human extinction would have on the US real GDP per capita (1990 $) in case you were curious
The reason you canβt give a single inch on anything be it trans rights or dignity for unhoused people is that they, democrats and republicans alike, will take it and say thanks what else is in your pockets? They wonβt say thanks actually.
State of the Union? Uhhhh weβre doing pretty good thanks how about you
I think to be human is to have that drive to create, to make yourself known, to live so vicariously that you can't leave this world without having put something into it. That we live under a system prioritizing abstract numbers over fostering and safeguarding that aspect of humanity sickens me.
I looked him up when I got home. He doesn't have a presence online, but the sparse info I could find -- dated 2019, then 2003, then 1996 -- suggests he's been doing this for at least 30 years. Unclear whether he's homeless, but regardless, this seems like his main source of income.
Just bought a printer-paper booklet of poems and short stories from a guy in pajamas sitting in a rolling walker outside of the local grocery store. he said it was "$10, or 5 will work" but I didn't have any of those bills so I gave him a 20.
"38% using it for automated tutorials (or in-game coaching) and "dynamic balancing and tuning of gameplay.""
Oh you mean like Valve did in Left 4 Dead and the presentation they released on that in 2009? rystorm.com/blog/this-is...
I am just asking for people to know their history. It's that simple
Sonic reclining saying: I WANT GAMES WITH GRAPHICS MADE BY PEOPLE WHO ARE PAID TO WORK ANDI'M NOT KIDDING
Crazy how this is the radical position now
we werenβt negative enough and now no-one gets to have ram or hard drives
Sure, if you want to avoid it yourself to try for broader appeal, that's fine. But don't shit on others' choices just because you think the average reader isn't capable of making an educated guess (if they even feel the need to do so). It may be a turn-off for some, but that's any creative decision.
There's an actual language spoken by actual people called !XΓ³Γ΅. The diacritic in Paul ErdΕs's last name isn't available on my phone keyboard. CΓ΄te d'Ivoire and TΓΌrkiye are the nations' preferred names... in English.
"But Western aud--" CrΓ¨me brΓ»lΓ©e. TΓͺte-Γ -tΓͺte. The town of Saint-Louis-du-Ha! Ha!.
Tepid take but if your immediate response to diacritics or punctuation in a fantasy place or character name is "How is anyone in your audience going to read this? How is this supposed to be said out loud? This is disastrous naming!" then I think you're more a businessperson than an author or artist.
No this doesn't help my case but sometimes inside jokes are more important than [checks notes] being treated like an adult when I am canonically and literally one
Age verification?
I'm younger than VitaminWater.

I haven't come up with much flora in these forests, unfortunately, but I do know some fungi. In thick deciduous forests, you can find the occasional towering mushroom, which is the size of a tree or so. In temperate rainforests, phantom mold loves colonizing juicy fruits.

Oh yeah, definitely. There's a big one in the center of the continent. That's where Baxin's family and the Sakk language are from. The nation invading the area's native peoples is also there, but it's such a big desert that it's a different place entirely.

I don't have many mountains actually thought up. There's a big mountainous region due to plate convergence; it's like the Himalayas. The Andosy peninsula has Coin Mountain somewhere. And some mountain mines contain pitchblende, one red witch's preferred source of power.

Ope! I do, but they're out of date. I'm rebuilding it from the ground up currently, reworking the plate tectonics and continental coastline for more varied climate zones. Regardless, here's the gist of it.

The scope of the story is more or less restricted to the major continent of the world of Erova (Arven, though I'm not entirely sold on that name yet). They could reasonably have some escapades at sea, and in the future there might be some Onaplane shenanigans, but not now.
Let's play some catch-up, shall we?
#FebruaryWorldbuilders 1
Yep, it's a planet called Erova. The planetary system it's part of is the Dorean System, and the larger universe is the Andoplane. There are some other planes, too -- the Onaplane and Infernoplane are the ones that have come up so far.
Once again, it turns out βfully autonomousβ means βa guy in the Philippines.β
Vibe coding is working as expected: it'll kill the open-source, secure, and ideologically maintained alternatives to make sure you have to pay the oligarchs to do anything at all, and they can control what you're allowed to make.

i'll also point out that it's a full dollar cheaper here than other platforms that sell rather than stream, and it comes with two bandcamp-exclusive bonus tracks (updated demos from the original Demos from the Solar System). so uhh go buy it on friday pls it's like five bucks
OH BOY! Bandcamp Friday is back THIS FRIDAY 2/6 and that means if you buy my new release then all the money goes to me instead of bandcamp getting a cut !! so if you had any interest in doing that but hadn't gotten to it -- go do that on friday >:D
