8/8 Lastly, weβve also made a searchable domain where you can accessibly search through the collectionβs data:
phage.klebphacol.soton.ac.uk#/
Thanks to the iSolutions team from the @unisouthampton.bsky.social to help us implement this so brilliantly!
7/8 and sooo much more! Please check out the manuscript and our updated website where you can easily request the resource for your questions of interest

6/8 Indeed we have a large host-range panel of these pairings (53 phages vs. 74 strains) in two different media types, and in anaerobic/aerobic conditions for ST323-targeting phages ( #IBD relevant K.p.).
5/8 Notably, cgLIN typing (Hennart et al 2022) of these strains is also available in the metadata, showing unique STL and LIN codes for KlebPhaCol strains!
4/8 Similarly, we have characterised all 74 strains according to amazing #Klebsiella resources like #Kaptive and #Kleborate, and weβve created a #Pathogenwatch collection of the K. pneumoniae strains to facilitate comparisons of these strains with yours!

3/8 In the manuscript you can expect to find behavioural, morphologic and genomic descriptions of the 53 Roth phages.
In addition to GenBank versions of their genomes, we added additional annotations available in the projectβs Figshare: 10.6084/m9.figshare.27794211
2/8 The Klebsiella Phage Collection (KlebPhaCol) is an #open-source (free) resource comprising 53 phages and 74 Klebsiella strains that have been fully characterised.
The strains and phages cover a wide diversity, including one newly proposed gut-associated phage order: Felixvirales
1/8 π£Big update: we are very excited to share that the KlebPhaCol @biorxivpreprint.bsky.social is now out!
Big shoutout to all those involved in making this happenπ
