sure a graphic designer may know how to get AI to generate a workable file (idk because I don’t use it)

but people are using it to avoid paying graphic designers but now we’re just getting paid to fix your slop so it can actually be used lol

I swear to god I’ll never complain about people sending me Canva files again because at least there is an editable form of those somewhere even if it’s a pain in the ass

with AI generated slop, there is none of that

this is what will keep graphic designers employed, actually 😭

just hire designers and stop sending out AI slop, especially when you don’t know anything about making files print-ready!!! or hell just save some time and pay us the fee from the start and I’ll make you something nice 😭

here’s how things go now at work:

client has an event coming up, they want some swag. they send me a flat image file of some AI slop that will look awful imprinted on an object

now they have to pay us a design fee so that we can essentially recreate the AI slop from scratch to make it look good.

east coast is nice now because I only had to get up a little early to watch baseball in Japan today

Oh, cool. For the second time this winter it seem that I, the person who never gets sick, am sick. Like I took three Tylenol pills 2.5 hours ago and my fever went *up* kind of sick.
