On Saturday 20th September we welcomed the Yeovil Archaeological and Local History Society members to the Old Chapel for a talk from Andrew McCarthy on the renovation of the building. Everyone enjoyed the visit and a lovely comment was left - Beautiful and Honest. Also thank you for your donations.
The Tolpuddle Old Chapel History Club organised and produced and very informative display on show in the Old Chapel over the Martyrs Festival Weeknd. Here is a short video showing just a small selection of the three displays.
The Martyrs Festival takes place over the weekend 18th - 20th. July. Do come along and it's FREE entry on the Sunday. Whilst there, make your way down the village (past the Martyrs Inn) and pay a visit to the Tolpuddle Old Chapel. There is plenty going on. Please see the flyer for further info.
Models of the three phases of Tolpuddle Old Chapel

The models were commissioned as part of our Lottery bid.
AUB arranged for George to include their construction as part of his BA Hons Model making course.

We are open for visitors every Thursday morning from 10:00 - 12:00. Entrance is free, although we do encourage visitors to consider making a donation towards the upkeep of the Old Chapel.
Volunteer stewards are on hand to answer visitors' questions, or just to simply spend some quiet time.
