This ‘island of strangers’ rhetoric is dangerous and dehumanising. A stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet—and Scotland is better off because of immigrants.

Phillipa Whitford was pretty spot on. Scotland really has only one choice if it wants to protect its NHS.

I agree - but the writer's pro-Israeli stance doesn't detract from the reporting of the level of incompetence displayed as well as an insight into the attitudes of the US Adminstration
